Stormwater Management on Golf Courses

Soil scientists are essential to the understanding of erosion control and stormwater management for new land developments.  Water quality regulations necessitate new innovative non-structural approaches to removal of pollutants from the stormwater.  Soil scientists were part of the multidisciplinary team that redesigned and engineered the Preston and Prestonwood Golf Course in Cary, NC.
